CADBURY’S FOUNDER JOHN CADBURY believed chocolate could make the world a better place, building his company on generous and pioneering values that continue to shape the brand today.

More than a century on, Cadbury continues to play a meaningful role in everyday Australian life. Its connection is one of shared moments, local manufacturing and a commitment to delivering the quality and taste Australians know and trust.

Cadbury Dairy Milk is grounded in the ingredients, people and communities behind every block of chocolate. In Tasmania, fresh milk is sourced from local dairy farms and connects generations of farmers to the chocolate enjoyed in homes across the country.

Each year, Cadbury sources around 100 million litres of fresh milk from the Burnie region, produced by 48 local family farms. That milk is processed and transported to the Claremont factory, where it is combined with cocoa and Australian sugar to create Cadbury Dairy Milk.

This connection from farm to factory was recently brought to life when Cadbury welcomed its Tasmanian dairy farmers to Claremont, offering a first-hand look at how their milk becomes part of one of Australia’s most iconic chocolate brands. “We believe that generosity is at the heart of thriving communities. Whether it’s supporting local jobs, working with Australian farmers or creating moments that bring people together, Cadbury has always been about more than just chocolate,” says Mondelēz International ANZ Vice President of Marketing, Ben Wicks.
