Being recognised as an iconic Australian brand reflects the everyday efforts of Bunnings’ 50,000-plus team members across the country who proudly serve our customers and the communities we operate in.

Our team is the heart and soul of the business and works hard to earn our customers’ trust and loyalty by fostering a safe and welcoming environment in our stores. It’s the people who interact with our customers on a daily basis – our team members offering advice and creating a positive experience – who deserve credit for this recognition.

I would like to send a sincere thank you to our team members, customers and suppliers who contribute to making Bunnings what it is today.

Since the first Bunnings Warehouse opened in Sunshine, Victoria in 1994, we have grown to more than 350 locations across Australia, including warehouses, small format stores and trade centres. Through this, our focus on team and community has remained strong.

Our ongoing commitment to community was never more evident than when, in March, our teams and stores nationwide banded together to run our iconic barbecues and raise funds for those affected by the devastation caused by Cyclone Alfred and other tropical weather events.

I am proud of our diverse, multigenerational workforce, from young people starting their first job to older workers transitioning to retirement. Many team members have trade or industry experience, enhancing the advice and service provided.
